I would like to tell you about ways that I can customize jewelry  from Andreas Jewelry to suit your needs.

The request that I get most often is to make a necklace or bracelet longer or shorter.  This is almost always possible, the only exceptions would be if the design doesn’t allow shortening because of the bead combination, or if I did not have more of the needed beads to lengthen a piece.

If you need a different length for any of my bracelets or necklaces, please email me your requirements and I will quote you the additional price (if any).  Both lengthening and shortening require me to restring the item- there would also be extra beads required if it needs to be longer.

My bracelets and necklaces all fasten with Sterling Silver decorative toggle clasps.  If this doesn’t work for you and you prefer a magnetic clasp, I offer a very nice looking solid Sterling Silver strong magnetic clasp for customers who prefer this.  There is a $10.00 additional charge for either a bracelet or a necklace because the item will have to be completely restrung to attach the new clasp.  I tried out a bracelet that had this clasp- it will not come undone unless you want it to!  When you put it on, it will almost attach itself from about an inch away!  They are easy to put on and take off even though they are so strong.

This could make choosing a  holiday gift  much easier for that special  lady on your list who has arthritis issues and can’t manage a toggle style clasp!

My Men’s bracelets and necklaces come standard with a beautiful textural magnetic clasp.  If those need to be changed to a toggle, that is OK too!

Earring Options

All of my earrings come hanging on solid Sterling Silver French earwires unless otherwise specified. I can convert any of my hanging earrings to a Sterling Silver Post-Style for no extra charge.  Please just let me know when you place your order.

I can convert most of my hanging earring designs to a Sterling Silver Non- Pierced Clip-Style for a $5.00 additional charge.  Heavier earrings would not be a good choice for this!  If you would like any earrings on your order converted to Clip-Style, please go through checkout and either add a note to your order or email me your request and I will invoice you through Paypal for the additional charge.

I receive requests from time to time for either white or yellow gold earwires because of metal allergies.  Precious metal prices are crazy and always changing so please let me know if you are interested so I can quote you a price.

I came across something else that could be of interest for ladies who have severe metal allergies- plastic french style earwires!  They are not elegant but they are a clean design and very functional.  The least conspicuous colors would be clear or black.  If I couldn’t wear earrings because of a metal allergy I would certainly wear these!  Since they are plastic, these earwires would only be suitable for lightweight earring designs.  It is nice to have the option though, rather than to go around with naked ears!

I would be happy to create a custom designed piece of jewelry for you!  Please email me to let me know your desires- color, length, etc.  If there is an existing design in my collection that has the look you want, but is the wrong color, please let me know.  If we are matching a color on a piece of clothing, a picture of the garment would be great.  A piece of the fabric or even some threads would help.  Maybe you could even find the exact color on a paint chip from a hardware store- then you could send it to me US Mail!
